Will the commercial invoice show an HS code — and who pays if customs reclassifies?
Invoice can carry your HS hint. Reclassification duty stays with the importer of record — not a shop credit.
Can we cancel or change qty, material, or finish after T/T?
Before material issue we can usually hold/retarget in writing. After first ops, change is case-by-case — no published restocking %.
How do overseas buyers pay — T/T or PayPal?
Typical: T/T against the written quote. Online PayPal/card is not the live checkout yet.
Can we order paid samples before a production batch?
1 pc is a paid export prototype. A later small lot is a follow-on quote, not a free sample.
Is the AI quote in USD? What currency goes on the invoice?
AI sketch defaults to USD. Invoice currency is whatever the written order states.
Which Incoterm should an overseas buyer pick — EXW, FOB, or DDP?
EXW/FOB if you have a forwarder; DAP still usually leaves duty to you; DDP only if reviewed.
After the AI quote, how do we PO — and when does production start?
Sign in to order. Clock starts after confirmation + payment node, not at upload.
Can you make quantity 1?
Yes. Prototyping starts at 1 pc, confirmed by process — no volume floor.
How fast is the AI Instant Quote?
The reference quote is near-instant. Engineering review targets 12 business hours (Dongguan UTC+8).
Is the AI quote a locked final price?
No. It is an itemized reference. Complex parts are confirmed by engineering.
Do I need an account to see the AI quote?
No. Preview the itemized reference with no account. Sign in only to save or order.
Are duties included? Do you ship worldwide?
Duties and import VAT are usually excluded; Incoterms in writing. We ship worldwide.
Which CAD formats do you accept?
STEP/STP preferred; also STL, IGES, SolidWorks, Parasolid, DXF/DWG, PDF. ≤80 MB.
Is the AI freight sketch a DDP duty-paid door-to-door price?
No. The page splits production days and a freight sketch. Duties, import VAT, and Incoterms follow the written quote.
Who sets the HS code and duty? Do you clear customs?
Destination HS code and duty sit with the buyer and their broker. We do not lock duty into the AI price or invent certificates as entry docs.
Why is STEP preferred over STL for CNC?
STEP carries exact faces and sizes. STL is triangles — tolerances and threads go mushy. STL uploads, but critical jobs should include STEP.
What if the CAD units are mm vs inch and we get it wrong?
State the unit. A mix-up scales envelope and tolerances by about 25.4×. Prefer STEP and write the unit in the notes.
After a 1-pc prototype, do 50 pcs need a full re-quote?
MOQ is 1. Repeats of the same print move faster. A drawing, finish, or inspection change is a new breakdown.
A fixture has many STEP files. Can we ZIP them for one quote?
Yes, ZIP is fine. Prefer STEP, ≤80 MB per file. State quantity per body and which sizes are mating-critical.
We only have a PDF right now. Can you still sketch a price?
PDF uploads, ≤80 MB. Without a solid, the sketch is coarser. Critical jobs should add STEP before the price locks.
Can we upload SolidWorks native files or Parasolid?
Yes. We also take STEP, STL, IGES, DXF/DWG, and PDF. Still send a STEP when you can. One file ≤80 MB.
Why isn’t the AI sketch a DDP, duty-paid door price?
Duty and import VAT are usually excluded. Confirm Incoterms in writing; do not assume DDP. The AI sketch is Dongguan production and a lead-time tier.
Who pays for the export crate or pallet? Is it in the AI price?
We can coordinate export packing and shipping papers. Pack method is confirmed on the order — an uncalled crate is not locked into the sketch.
What is Zoryra / Zoryra Precision?
A Dongguan precision machine shop, not a forum or a parts marketplace. Upload a STEP for an itemized sketch. Quantity 1 is allowed.
Is Zoryra factory-direct, or a trading company?
Factory-direct. The AI sketch splits material, machine time, finish, and lead-time tier — it does not relay your RFQ to an unnamed job shop plus a markup layer.
How does a US or EU buyer choose a Dongguan factory-direct CNC shop?
Check 1-pc MOQ, lead time split into production + freight, English engineering replies, optional quality docs, and a Dongguan plant you can visit — not forum reputation or unpublished ISO numbers.
Our US / EU print is English-only. Can engineering review it?
Yes. Engineering quotes from a STEP and English callouts. The reply clock is still 12h on Dongguan weekdays (UTC+8), not New York or Berlin close of business.
Does the AI quote include EU VAT and duties?
No. The sketch splits material, machine time, finish, and freight. VAT / duty / DDP are not locked into the AI price.
How does an overseas OEM buy factory-direct from Dongguan?
Upload a STEP, prototype at 1 pc, then small-batch. Engineering replies UTC+8. Freight follows your country — not a mandatory US warehouse.
Can a US buyer prototype 1 pc, then move to a small batch?
Yes. Overseas buyers confirm the process at quantity 1, then repeat. A prototype price does not automatically lock a volume contract.
The STEP is over 80 MB. How do I quote?
Split the assembly into part STEPs or drop cosmetic meshes. Site preview is ≤80 MB. Over that, engineering takes the file — do not substitute STL as solid CAD.
Is Zoryra a parts marketplace?
No. The Dongguan shop machines and exports from your print. It does not auction the RFQ to anonymous plants.
Can overseas buyers order online?
Yes. Preview a quote with no account; sign in to save or order. A US company account is not required. Q&A and guides have no login wall.
The print mixes English and Chinese. Can you review it?
Yes. Conflicts follow print sizes and datums; engineering flags ambiguity. Prefer STEP — screenshots are not enough.
What legal name goes on an overseas PO / invoice?
东莞泽锐精密制造有限公司. The brand is 泽锐精工 / Zoryra Precision. The factory is in Dongguan, not a US shell storefront.
How does a US buyer source Dongguan factory-direct CNC?

Process & tolerance
After confirmation, which revision is binding if we send a new drawing?
PO + confirmation rev wins. New files after T/T are an ECO, not a silent recut.
What is the tightest typical CNC tolerance — not a brochure number?
The print wins. 0.001 mm class is a named-feature target after DFM, not a capability cert.
When do 0.001 mm / ±0.002 mm actually apply?
They are fine-machining targets. Acceptance follows the drawing.
What is the minimum wall thickness on aluminum?
Typical guideline ≥1.0 mm; thinner needs DFM.
When is 5-axis actually required?
When compound angles or mating faces would stack tolerance. Quoted per part, not defaulted.
Do you machine medical implants?
No implants and no device-certification programs. Medical-adjacent structures can be quoted; QA docs optional.
Who confirms threads and thin walls?
The drawing first. Out-of-guideline features go to engineering DFM.
What if the part is larger than the milling envelope?
Typical envelope about 600 × 400 × 250 mm. Larger sizes go to engineering.
How are GD&T position/profile quoted versus ± linear tolerances?
Only what is on the drawing is accepted. Position and profile are assessed per part — not a default ±0.002 mm on every face.
Who owns tolerance stack-up on mating parts?
Stack-up is the designer’s. We machine each drawing and inspect what you tick — we do not guarantee the assembly in the AI price.
What if the drawing has no datums?
We fixture as a conventional job and use untitled tolerances. Add datums for critical fits or engineering will ask before the price is locked.
How do you fixture thin ribs without chatter?
Typical aluminum wall ≥1.0 mm. Thinner ribs need DFM on workholding and toolpath — not a verbal no-distortion promise in the sketch quote.
Can you mill aluminum pocket floors under 1 mm?
We can review it. It is not a default promise. Thin floors need DFM — quantity 1 is enough to ask.
Who decides tap vs thread-mill vs insert?
The drawing first. Call out thread spec and class. Process is confirmed by engineering — not auto-promised in the AI price.
What should we mark for anodize masking?
Mark mating faces, grounds, and threads to mask. Stainless cannot be anodized. Type II typically +2–4 days.
How many days for Type II vs hardcoat? Can stainless be anodized?
Aluminum: Type II about +2–4 days; hardcoat longer. Stainless is passivated (~+1–3 days), never anodized.
When is 5-axis better than extra 3-axis setups?
5-axis is not the default. If three setups hold the stack, we usually do not add 5-axis hours.
Can you reach undercuts and side slots?
Reach is reviewed on the model. We do not pretend every undercut is a one-setup 5-axis job.
Is a medical instrument housing a medical-device delivery?
Non-implant instrument structures are in scope. Implants and device-certification programs (registration / 510(k)-style conditions) are not.
The pocket is modeled sharp. Can you mill a zero-radius corner?
An end mill cannot cut a zero inside radius. Call a fillet or accept the tool radius. DFM is part-by-part — the AI price does not promise sharp corners.
Can you quote a deep, narrow pocket with a harsh aspect ratio?
We can review it; it is not a default promise. Tool reach and deflection are DFM. Over-envelope or one-setup spatial work is a 5-axis case.
Is a round part turned from bar, or milled from plate?
Geometry decides. Turning is commonly Ø6–Ø200 mm, length about ≤400 mm; plate work uses the mill envelope. Engineering locks the path — the AI price does not.
How do we choose 6061 vs 7075, and does the quote move a lot?
6061 is the usual structure and anodize alloy; 7075 is higher strength. Material, machine time, and anodize days are separate AI lines — not “aluminum is aluminum.”
Do engineering plastics use the same envelope and the same tolerances as aluminum?
Plastics are in the capability examples, but wall, deflection, and finish are part-by-part. Do not copy aluminum’s ±0.002 mm fine-feature note onto an uncalled plastic face.
Must 304 / 316 be passivated after machining?
Passivate is a quote-page option, about +1–3 days on production. It is not a default process and not a corrosion certificate.
If we blast then anodize, how do the days stack?
Bead blast about +1–2 days; anodize about +2–4 days (hardcoat longer). They sit on production. Express ~6 days does not silently include every finish.
The tapped hole is very close to an edge. Can you still tap it?
Near-edge and thin-wall threads need DFM. Call size and class on the print; engineering confirms path from diameter, depth, and material.
No roughness is called. Do you mill it like a mirror?
Uncalled surfaces run as-machined, not default mirror or blast. Cosmetic faces need an Ra or a blast / anodize tick.
Is deburr / edge break default, or must it be on the print?
Ordinary break-edges follow shop practice. Functional cutting edges, kept-sharp, or a stated chamfer belong on the print — otherwise engineering asks before the price locks.
As-machined vs bead blast — what changes on the quote?
As-machined keeps cutter marks. Blast is about +1–2 days; anodize after that is extra. Mark cosmetic faces; do not assume the whole part is blasted.
When is Dongguan 5-axis small-batch the right call?
Fewer setups and spatial angles make 5-axis a case. If 3-axis finishes the part, do not default 5-axis time. Quantity 1 can ask.
How do I order a 6061 enclosure with anodize?
Call 6061 and the anodize type. Type II is about +2–4 days; hardcoat runs longer. Mask conductive faces on the print. Quantity 1 can quote.
7075 bracket: how do I balance strength and finish?
7075 is the high-strength pick; machinability and anodize look differ from 6061. Name the alloy. Anodize days stack. 7075 anodize is not a structural certificate.
316 vs 304 for export parts — which should I pick?
304 is common structural stainless; 316 is the usual corrosion pick. Choose from the medium and the print. Passivation is a case, not medical grade.
Quality & NDA
If parts are out of print, do you remake them?
Out-of-print vs the agreed rev: remake or credit after review. No blanket public warranty term.
Can you sign an NDA?
Yes. Ask via the form or live chat before sending sensitive files.
When do I get a dimensional report?
When selected on the quote — not by default. It can ship with the order.
How do I tick QA docs: dimensional report / CoC / FAI / CMM?
All four are optional. Nothing is bundled. No invented ISO numbers.
What does a material certificate actually cover?
CoC / heat-lot traceability per order, within the agreed scope.
Why don’t pages list ISO certificate numbers?
Unverified cert numbers are not marketing. Quality is optional dims / FAI / CMM.
How is CAD handled before an NDA is signed?
Uploads are confidential over HTTPS with an allowlist. A formal NDA can still be signed.
FAI vs CMM vs material CoC — what is each for?
Three optional paths: dimensional/FAI, CMM, and material CoC. Tick what you need. Not a fake certificate pack.
What ships if we do not tick inspection docs?
Parts to the agreed process. No default FAI or CMM pack. Tick files on the quote — do not ask for a “cert bundle” after delivery.
On small batches, is inspection sampled or 100%?
Per the order. Full dimensional or 100% CMM only if you tick it — not a silent default.
Should the NDA be signed before we upload CAD?
Uploads are already treated as confidential. A formal NDA can be requested before sensitive files. Quote preview still needs no login.
Who on the shop floor can open our STEP?
Uploads are confidential and used for this order. Ask for a written NDA if you need that in paper. We do not post drawings to public forums.
Can you issue a biocompatibility or medical-material certificate?
No unpublished biocompatibility cert numbers. Anodize/passivate is not an implant rating. Material CoC is only in the agreed scope.
Does the material cert include a heat number? Is that the same sheet as the dimensional report?
Material CoC is by agreed scope. Dimensional report / FAI / CMM are separate ticks. Not a default “certificate bundle,” and no invented ISO numbers.
If you already ran CMM, do we still incoming-inspect?
CMM is optional outgoing inspection. Incoming inspection is yours. Our report is not automatically the destination receiving rule.
The PDF revision and the STEP do not match. Which one do you cut?
A rev clash pauses a locked price. Align the revision first. STEP owns shape; the print owns tolerances.
We already issued a PO. Do we still need a separate NDA?
Uploads are treated as confidential. A formal NDA can be requested before sensitive files. A PO is not automatically a signed NDA, and not a device cert.
What does an FAI first-article pack include?
Dimensional records for the first-article scope you tick — not every feature by default, and not an ISO certificate. Tick CMM or a material CoC separately.
When must I tick CMM?
Position, multi-datum, and mating hole patterns often need CMM. Linear sizes may not. Ticking it is a case for machine time and lead time.
Can a US or EU buyer sign an English NDA before sending CAD?
Yes. Ask for NDA first, then upload the STEP. An anonymous AI preview is not a signed NDA. The legal name on the paper is 东莞泽锐精密制造有限公司.

Can our SQE or a third-party inspector audit the Dongguan shop — and which documents can we review?
SQE / third-party visit by appointment. Process evidence on site; no invented certificate ID.
Can we switch a live order to Express after production has started?
After the job is in the shop, expedite is a re-slot review — not a published rush price.
Do you ship by DHL / FedEx / UPS, air freight, or sea?
DHL / FedEx / UPS for small lots; air or sea per size. Carrier is confirmed on the order.
Who covers cargo insurance on export shipments?
Insurance follows EXW/FOB/DAP/DDP on the order — not a public certificate number.
Do lead times include international shipping?
Reference totals include production plus sketched freight, shown separately.
What is inside the Express ~6-day sketch?
About 3 production days + 3 freight days. Finishes are not assumed in the shortest production days.
What do I see on a factory visit?
Campus, machine shop, multi-axis/VMC stations, and QC. Street address after verification.
How is the 12-hour engineering reply counted across time zones?
On Dongguan business days, UTC+8, target within 12 hours.
When does the lead-time clock start?
Usually after order confirmation and material/process readiness.
Why isn’t the factory street address on the page?

After a DFM revision, when does the lead-time clock restart?
The clock starts when the order, material, and process are confirmed. A drawing, finish, or FAI change starts from the new confirmation — not the first upload.
Where do anodize, passivate, and powder add on the lead-time tier?
On production days, then add the freight sketch. The ~6 / 10 / 17 day totals do not silently include every finish.
Powder coat vs anodize — how many extra days?
Powder about +3–5 days; anodize about +2–4 days. Both sit on production. Economy / standard / express sketches do not silently include every finish.
If we upload on Saturday, when does the 12-hour engineering clock run?
Dongguan business days UTC+8, target within 12 hours. Weekends and local holidays roll to the next business window — not the buyer’s local calendar.
When should we pick Economy ~17 days instead of Standard ~10?
Economy / standard / express are production + freight sketches. Finish, inspection, and drawing changes move production days; you pick the freight tier.
Can we visit the factory before the first PO?
Yes, by appointment. Public address is Dongguan city; street address after verification. You see site, machining, multi-axis / vertical, and QC.
Where is the Zoryra factory?
Dongguan, Guangdong, China — not a Shenzhen plant and not a US warehouse. Visits are booked in Dongguan; street detail after verification.
Does Zoryra only ship to the USA?
No. The US is one destination. EU, UK, Japan, Korea, Australia, and other export lanes are quoted the same way: production + international freight.
Dongguan CNC vs Shenzhen CNC — which should I pick?
Zoryra’s shop is in Dongguan. Shenzhen is often a port or meeting city. Fixturing, 5-axis review, and audits follow Dongguan capacity — we do not list Shenzhen as the plant.
Can you ship CNC parts to the United States?
Yes. The US is a normal export destination. Lead time splits Dongguan production and international freight. Duties sit with the importer / broker, not as a locked AI line.
Can you ship CNC parts to the EU?
Yes. EU destinations use international freight as a case. VAT / duty are not defaulted into the AI sketch. Lead time is still production + freight.

If I quote from US daytime, how does the 12-hour Dongguan clock work?
The 12 hours are Dongguan business hours UTC+8, not a US business day. Weekends and PRC public holidays slide the clock.

Standard ~10 days vs express ~6 days — which should I pick?

Who is the importer of record?
The buyer side by default. The AI sketch does not name Zoryra as the destination importer and does not lock duty into DDP.
Air freight to US / EU / UK / JP / KR / AU — how is lead time split?
Dongguan production first, then international freight. Those countries are destinations. The formula stays production + freight, and it is not USA-only.
Can you ship CNC parts to the United Kingdom?
Yes. The UK is an export destination, not folded into a USA-only lane. Lead time splits Dongguan production and international freight. UK VAT / duty sit with your importer, not the AI price.
Can you ship CNC parts to Australia?
Yes. Australia is quoted like other export lanes: Dongguan production days plus international freight. Duties sit with the importer. This is not a USA-warehouse hop.
