A common aluminum wall is not below 1.0 mm. Thinner can be asked about. It needs DFM first. It is not a capability that is already confirmed. After lightening, a frame is best not below 1.2 mm. When wall thickness is about below 1.0–1.2 mm and the internal corner is sharp, the usual results are chatter, distortion after anodize, and cracking at lightening-pocket corners.
What can change: add fillets to lightening pockets; tighten bearing bores and shaft holes to function and relax cosmetic faces; when side walls are complex, ask three-axis or five-axis first, and do not assume five-axis. 7075 is stronger, and that is not a reason to make the wall thin. Before upload, look at deep pockets, unsupported thin walls, and missing fillets. Units must match the drawing. Mixing metric and inch makes the reference price and the lead time fail to match.
Write the thinnest wall and the fillets in the quote notes, and upload a STEP to see the itemized reference price. If the wall is thin, the pocket is deep, or hard anodize is added on a precision thread, write one line in the notes and wait for engineering to confirm. A reference price is not a contract.
