Select the four separately. A dimensional report checks the dimension list both sides confirmed. It is not a default full-dimension inspection. A material certificate is supplied by heat or grade, and it exists only if it was selected at quote. FAI is for a new part, a first batch, a gauge plate, or a multi-datum flange. It lines up the design, the critical dimensions, and the cosmetic agreement first. CMM is for when the list names position, coaxiality, or flatness. 1 piece can also select FAI.
The inspection tiers on the quote page are: standard outgoing inspection, dimensional inspection report, material certificate, first-article inspection (FAI), and CMM report. Standard outgoing inspection is included by default. Dimensional report, material certificate, FAI, and CMM are selected separately. After you select them, cost and any added production days are visible first. Inspection sits inside production days. Shipping days are still written separately. Documents that are not on the list are not attached by default. Certificate numbers are not invented.
Inspection can be set per order: calipers, micrometers, gauge blocks or pins, and thread ring gauges. CMM is by selection. Cosmetics can be compared with a sample. A factory visit can be booked to see the QC area. A factory visit is not itself an order.
RoHS / REACH is assisted or passed through when there is a need. Medical work is non-implant structure only, and inspection can be selected to the drawing. Implants are not accepted. A new drawing does not reuse the previous revision’s FAI or CMM.
In the quote, select only the item this part needs to send out. Upload the STEP, mark the dimensions that go on the list, and see the itemized reference price. A reference price is not a contract.
