It is not pure machining days on the shop floor, and it is not a door-to-door guarantee.
Machining surcharges are on the same table: economy 0%, standard +12%, rush +28%. Freight also changes with the tier. The illustrated international leg is drawn as air or courier. Larger, heavier repeat orders can go by sea. The carrier is confirmed on the order. Duty and import VAT are usually not included.
The quote page writes production days as one column that combines process tier, finish, and inspection. Shipping days are a separate column. Extra days in the finish guide are counted in production days: bead blast about +1–2, anodize about +2–4 (hard anodize longer), passivation about +1–3, powder coat about +3–5, polish or brush about +1–3. Rush, about 6 days, is used when both the blank and the finish allow it. Inserts, thick hard anodize, and outside heat treat are scheduled again. The illustration on the page is not a contract lead time. An engineer confirms it before the order.

The usual case is that production is scheduled after the wire transfer arrives, not from the moment the AI preview price is generated.
