The STEP and the PDF differ by a missing groove. The buyer said 'machine the model' in email and the PO cites the PDF revision. The groove is the expensive feature.

Machine the document the PO names, and email the conflict before you cut. 'Machine the model' in a side email does not beat the PO if the groove is money and risk. Ask which file wins and get it on the PO.

If you already cut the model, stop the rest of the lot. A missing groove is a field failure or a scrap, and guessing is how you pay for both.

Quote from one named revision. Two files are two parts.
