A 14 mm pocket in 6061 packs with chips about twenty minutes into a pallet. The tool is fine when someone stands there with an air gun. Nights we come back to a broken 6 mm end mill.

The program has to get the chip out, because nobody will be holding the air gun. A peck, a higher pressure through-tool if you have it, or a wider slotting path that leaves the chip a way out, beats another air nozzle aimed from memory.

Look at the pocket corner. A tool that rubs the finished wall on the way out recuts the chip it just made. A small lift before the retract stops that.

If the mill still packs, do not leave that tool in an unattended pallet. Split the pocket to days until the path is honest.
