A Delrin bushing bores to the pin at 4 pm and the pin will not enter at 8 am. The shop is not hotter. The part sat on the bench uncovered. The bore was on size when it left the lathe.

Delrin moves with moisture and with the heat you put into it. A bore that is right while warm can close overnight. Let a sample sit and gauge it at the same time of day you will ship, then offset the machine so the rested part is the one in tolerance.

Do not chase it by cutting more the next morning on a rested part and a warm machine. You will open it twice.

If the pin is a press fit, agree the condition: as-machined, or after twenty-four hours. Write that on the quote. The drawing rarely does.
