Cross-drilling a 2 mm wall stainless tube. The hole size is fine. The inside burr is a flap that fails a borescope check. We peck and the rpm is moderate.

The inside flap is the drill pushing the last skin instead of cutting it. A sharper split-point, a slower feed on the last millimeter, or a form that is supported inside, reduces it. Pecking in the middle of the wall does not fix the exit.

A small reamer or a deburr tool from the inside is the honest fix if the process cannot support the wall. Put that in the routing. Do not inspect it out.

If the tube is already slit or open, deburr from the inside with a blade before the part is closed up. After welding you will not get in.
