A 40 mm bore, 55 mm deep, in 1045 measures 40.01 at the face and 39.96 at the bottom. The bar is 16 mm shank, 70 mm overhang, and the finish pass is 0.15 mm on diameter. The program looks straight.

A bore that shrinks as it gets deeper, with a light finish, is the bar pushing off. Take a second finish pass at the same offset, or drop the finish stock to 0.08 mm and shorten the overhang. The program being straight does not make the bar straight under load.

Indicate the bar. A tip that sits above center cuts a taper that looks like deflection and is not.

If both passes at the same wear offset still taper the same way, the turret alignment or the bar seat is the problem, not the wear page.
