DWG-5108 rev B is a 6061 motor mount for a shop in Lima, 20 pieces. The dimensions are in millimeters. Someone added a Quechua note that the mating face must stay close, but the only number is ±0.05 mm on the 40.00 mm pad. I want to know if that note adds a tighter call.
Lima 6061 mount DWG-5108, Quechua tolerance note
The number on the pad wins. A note that says 'close' does not replace ±0.05 mm. If the Quechua line means a tighter face, write the tighter number. I would not guess. Is the pad the face that bolts to the motor?
We machined a Lima mount where the note and the ±0.05 mm disagreed in people's heads. The pad measured 40.03 mm and was rejected over the note. Once the PDF said ±0.05 mm only, the same 40.03 mm passed.
I will strike the vague line and keep 40.00 ±0.05 mm, with a short Quechua gloss that points at that number. 20 pieces. Does the 8–10 day tier still hold with clear anodize?
