DWG-4344 rev C is a 6061 cover, 40 pieces. The email says black anodize, masked threads. The PDF has no finish note at all. Threads are M4, six of them. I do not want a bare quote if the email is the real spec.

The PDF is what we can inspect. Put 'black anodize, mask M4 threads' on the drawing or the quote will be bare 6061. Anodize adds days and can close a tight hole. Are any of those M4 holes a fit after anodize?
We anodized a 6061 cover whose print was silent. The M4 thread went tight: a go gauge that passed at the machine stopped after the tank. Masking the threads on the next lot fixed it. The color was fine.
I am adding the anodize note and the mask callout to rev D today. Please quote 40 pieces with black anodize on the 8–10 day tier and tell me if the mask pushes it.
