DWG-4338 rev B is a fluid fitting, 30 pieces. The model is stainless and the PDF says 304/316. It sees washdown, not seawater. The seal groove is 2.2 mm wide ±0.05 mm.

For washdown I would write 304 unless a chemical note says otherwise. 316 machines a bit gummier and does not change the 2.2 mm groove. Put one grade in the title block so the quote does not swing. Any chloride in that wash?
A 304 fitting we ran had the groove at 2.18 mm. The 316 twin, same insert, came out 2.24 mm and tore a little on the groove wall. We slowed the finish and the next 316 groove was 2.20 mm.
I will set the title block to 304 and keep the groove at 2.2 ±0.05 mm. 30 pieces. Can you stay inside 8–10 days with no extra finish?
