DWG-4326 rev D is a 6061 drone arm, 15 pieces. One wall is 0.8 mm over a 40 mm span, and the print allows ±0.05 mm. I am worried it will move. The arm also has two M3 holes near that wall.

0.8 mm in 6061 over 40 mm will chatter and spring. I would open the wall to 1.2 mm if the fit allows, or relax the ±0.05 mm on that wall only. The M3 holes need a boss or they will bell the mouth. Can the mating part take 1.2 mm?
We cut a 0.8 mm 6061 rib and it measured 0.61 mm in the middle after the finish pass. The same tool on a 1.2 mm rib held 1.17 mm.
I will change that wall to 1.2 ±0.1 mm and leave the M3 holes. Sending a new STEP today. Does 15 pieces of 6061 still fit the 8–10 day window?
