The cold plate can be 6061 or copper. The channels are already in the STEP. Which material should we send for the quote?

Aluminum or copper for an AI cooling cold plate?
6061 is the usual cold plate. Choose copper when the drawing needs higher thermal conductivity and you accept the higher material cost.

Name the grade, not just aluminum or copper. C110 and 6061 do not price the same, and the finish list is different.

Keep the sealing face and the channel depth on the drawing. The material choice does not set flatness or the o-ring groove.
