STEP, PDF, or DWG: which file should we send for a quote?
Send the STEP for the geometry and the PDF for tolerances and notes. A DWG is useful as a 2D backup. It is not a substitute for the STEP when the part is 3D.

Units must be on the drawing. We will not assume inches or millimeters when the files disagree.
