How should we mark critical faces on AI cooling equipment parts?
Put a flatness number on the sealing face and a note that it is the critical face. Make it flat is not a tolerance.

Mark any face that must stay free of anodize or blast. Masking that is not on the drawing is not in the quote.

If the cover is a second part, send both drawings. The sealing face is quoted against the face you marked, not against a face we pick.
