What does a CNC quote need on the drawing?
A quote needs the material, the quantity, the units, and the tolerances that matter. A STEP gives the shape. A PDF should carry the notes the model does not.

Mark the critical faces, the threads, and any finish or masking. If those are missing, the price is for an as-machined part to a general tolerance.
