Okuma IGF and a groove width that does not match the tool

IGF wrote a groove using a tool width of 3 mm. The tool in the turret is 2 mm. The groove is narrow and the wall is torn on one side. The simulation used the library tool.

The library width is the groove you get. Measure the tool and put 2 mm in the data, then regenerate. A 3 mm path with a 2 mm insert leaves a fin and tears a wall.

Do not compensate by edging the tool over in wear until the width 'looks right.' You will move the groove off its shoulder.

This is the same class of miss as a wrong nose radius. The control believes the form you typed.
