A long boring bar clears the chuck in its cutting position and clips a jaw during the index to the next tool. The simulation in the control was not used. The bar was added for this job only.

Index all the way around once, at a slow override, with the chuck empty or with the jaws in mind, before you cut. A bar that clears while cutting can still swing through a jaw on the index. Mazatrol will not imagine a bar you made longer than the library.

Update the tool shape so the interference check has a chance. An outdated tool picture is a blank check.

If the bar must be long, change the index position or the jaw. Do not hope the index path stays high. Watch it.
