Incoming rejected a batch for a light tool mark on the back face. No cosmetic specification is on the print. The mark is not a scratch you can catch with a nail. The face is flat and in tolerance.

Without a cosmetic specification, a light mark that does not break tolerance is a discussion, not a silent remake. Ask them to point at the note. If there is no note, offer to improve the next lot and ask whether this lot is usable.

If you agree the mark is ugly, pad that face next time. Do not add an unpaid polishing standard forever because one inspector flinched.

Photos and the revision of the print belong in the reply. 'Rejected for visual' is not a dimension.
