The pocket entry is a helix of 1 mm diameter larger than the tool. The tool screams on entry and the bottom of the helix is a rough spot. The rest of the pocket is fine. The CAM default helix was used.

A helix that leaves almost no radial room loads the center of the end mill. Open the helix or use a linear ramp the tool can cut with its periphery. Center-cutting is not free on every carbide mill.

The rough spot at the bottom is the helix dying in one place. Enter, then move off that point before you finish the floor.

Defaults are for a generic tool. A 12 mm mill and a 3 mm mill do not share a helix.
