Drill cycle posted as a peck that the control treats as a deep hole

We posted a chip-break peck. The Fanuc-style control is running a full retract deep-hole cycle because of the cycle number the post chose. The holes are correct and the time is triple. Chips are not the problem. Minutes are.

Open the code and read the cycle. CAM names and control codes are not the same thing. A post that emits the deep-hole cycle will retract to the clearance plane no matter what the dialog said.

Fix the post or the operation type and repost one hole as a test. Do not hand-edit forty holes unless you enjoy doing it again next revision.

Time the single hole before and after. That number is what you put in the quote next time, not the CAM estimate from the wrong cycle.
