How do we choose 6061 vs 7075, and does the quote move a lot?

6061 is the usual structure and anodize alloy; 7075 is higher strength. Material, machine time, and anodize days are separate AI lines — not “aluminum is aluminum.”

Public examples include aluminum 6061 / 7075. Strength, machinability, and anodize appearance differ — name the grade on upload, not just “aluminum.” Anodize about +2–4 days (hardcoat longer); bead blast about +1–2 days.

Walls commonly ≥1.0 mm. Quantity 1 through tens or hundreds in a trial lot can quote. Preview with no login. Complex parts: 12h UTC+8 on Dongguan business days.

Do not read 7075 anodize as a medical-grade coating. No implants. Lead time = production (including finish adders) + international freight. QA docs optional.
