Cargo risk moves with the Incoterm on the written order. Under EXW or FOB, main-carriage insurance is typically your forwarder’s file. DAP / DDP transit cover is only whatever that order actually arranges.

Duties, import VAT, and broker fees are separate from cargo insurance. Confirm both before you treat the AI sketch as door-delivered and duty-paid.
