DWG-4170 rev A is a nozzle seat and a base plate for a laser head, 10 pieces. The model says aluminum in one note and stainless in another. The nozzle bore is 8.00 mm. I need one material before I ask for a price.

6061 is what I would cut for the base plate and the optic mount when the print is silent. Use stainless on the nozzle seat when it sees coolant or you asked for corrosion resistance. Do not leave the line as metal. The bore fit and the flatness on the optic seat are what set the price, not the word aluminum by itself.

We bored a 6061 nozzle seat to 8.00 mm and it measured 8.01 mm, which was fine for that print. A 304 seat on the same program, because the email said stainless, measured 8.04 mm and tore at the mouth until the finish was slowed. The base plate was 6061 either way.

I will set the base plate of DWG-4170 to 6061 and the nozzle seat to 304, bore 8.00 ±0.02 mm. Tell me if 10 pieces still sit in about 8-10 days with those two grades.
