What it is
A wire cuts a profile by electrical discharge. This page explains that path. It does not state a wire diameter, a tank size, or a machine count.
When to use it
Hardened tool steel, punch profiles, and internal corners a cutter cannot reach. Mating faces may still need a later mill or grind if the drawing requires it.
Quote path
Upload the STEP and mark the wire-EDM profiles. Milling and turning remain the usual path when the geometry can be machined.

Wire EDM or milling?
Milling is the usual path for aluminum and most steel. Wire EDM is the path when the corner, the slot, or the hardness needs it.
