Housings, heat spreaders, and alignment plates for pluggable and custom optical modules. The optical engine stays with your component supplier.

Module mechanics are small, datum-heavy parts: a shell, a lid, a heat spreader, and a plate that sets the lens or fiber block. We machine those from aluminum or copper alloys when the drawing allows, and we quote wall thickness, pockets, and threads as features.
We do not build the laser, the photonic chip, or the optical coating. Flatness, EMI walls, and anodize masking on mating faces need to be on the PDF, not only in the STEP.

Alignment bores and thermal faces follow the drawing. Many shells sit around ±0.02–0.05 mm; finer datums are only where you call them out.

Do you assemble the optical module?
No. We machine the metal housing, spreader, and alignment plate. Lasers, chips, lenses, and coatings are outside this shop.
