ᓴᐅᔭ1

ᐃᓚ-6ᐃᓚ-4V ᓴᐅᔭ
AKA: TC4 / Grade 5
High strength-to-weight; slower machining — engineer review for complex parts.
ᐱᓕᕆ ᐃᓚ7

Nylon (ᐃᓚ)
AKA: PA / Nylon
Tough for gears/sliders — watch moisture swell on fits.

POM / Acetal
AKA: POM / Delrin-class
Dimensionally stable and wear-resistant for precision plastic parts.

PTFE / Teflon
AKA: PTFE
Chemically inert, low friction — low stiffness needs design care.

Metals
Al6061/7075/5052, SS304/316/303, mild steel, 4140, brass, copper. Titanium on request via engineering review.
Plastics
ABS, Nylon, POM, PC, PEEK and similar engineering plastics common in fixtures and housings.
Finishes
As-machined, bead blast, clear/black/hard anodize, powder coat, passivate, polish, brushed, chromate, zinc plate, black oxide. Plating beyond the list is discussed case by case.
Lead-time impact (production clock)
Reference: blast +1–2d, anodize +2–4d, powder +3–5d. Courier days stay separate on the quote. See the problem guide on masking before you freeze PO dates.
Compatibility tips
Anodize is typical for aluminum; passivation for stainless; black oxide / zinc for steels. Cosmetic anodize needs masking notes on drawings — thermal faces on electronics often stay as-machined.
Certificates
Material certificates / heat-lot traceability available per order agreement when selected — no invented cert numbers on marketing pages.

FAQ
Can I anodize stainless?
Anodize is typical for aluminum. For stainless, passivation or polish is the usual path — confirm in RFQ.
Is hard anodize available?
Yes — selectable as Hard anodize in the quote finish list for aluminum parts.
How many days does finishing add?
Reference: blast +1–2d, anodize +2–4d, powder +3–5d — see the finish atlas. Final days are itemized on the quote.
Where do I configure finish for a real part?
On the quote page — pick material + finish there, then engineering confirms masking / thermal keep-outs.
